I'm currently carrying out research in Thailand- exploring the causes and effects of deliberate fire burning in the district of Mae-On 40km due East of Chiang Mai. Prior to this I held office as the Vice President of Education and Equalities at Brighton Students' Union, where I also completed my BA honuors in Geography. I have a passion for all things 'green' and enjoy the thrill and adventure of intrepid travel. Countries visited- Australia, China, West and East Europe, Tunisia, Thailand and Indo-Chine. I am also a keen athlete and have competed in various events, including three marathons and other long distance races.
